Every Great Dream Begins With a Dreamer
I have a Civil Engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley and have worked in Geotechnical & Environmental Engineering related professions for more than 40 years. For several years during that period I owned and operated a Geotechnical and Environmental site investigation and testing firm which specialized in in situ testing techniques.
I am a horseman and particularly enjoy trail ride/ camp-outs. I own 3 horses and currently board 2 others.
I am a returning musician, having played in Blues and RnB bands in my younger days. I am now playing and studying jazz and funk. My main instrument is Baritone Saxophone.
I lived in Africa for several years, part of which was while a Peace Corps Volunteer. While in Kenya I designed and constructed water distribution networks for farming cooperatives. I spent one year in Uganda managing a hi-protein food processing plant that manufactured soy based hi-protein food products.
Other than Music and horses some of my current and past interests include camping, fishing, dancing and martial arts. I attained my Black Belt in Tae Kwando many years ago.
